McDonald’s performances

In these performances I am trying to connect art and life together. I like to create art about life from different angles. Each of these performances is a lived metaphor, a sustained act of attention to basic facets of life. There is often a great deal of repetition involved in the performances, I’m often doing the same thing over and over, like a mechanical man. This systematic approach to art-making is paramount to me. In enduring these tests I’m taking an idea and applying a logical system to achieve a better understanding of the limitations of reality.
